Dr. Anna Minasyan
I am an Associate Professor (tenured) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen (RUG) in the Netherlands, Department of Global Economics and Management. I conduct research in the political economy of development and gender using methods of econometric analysis. I teach students at the bachelor and master level on broad economics topics and supervise students at all levels (bachelor, master and PhD).

Prior to joining the RUG as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2017, I was a Postdoc Researcher at the University of Goettingen, Germany, working for a large-scale and exciting project on Growth and Economic Opportunities for Women financed by IDRC/DFID. I received my PhD in Economics with a thesis entitled "Aid, Politics, Culture, and Growth" from the University of Goettingen.
